As the new principal of St. Barbara School, I am honored to join this vibrant community. I firmly believe in the profound value of Catholic education and am committed to our mission of nurturing both academic and spiritual growth. At St. Barbara, we take pride in our small class sizes that support personalized, faith-based learning in a loving and nurturing environment. Our dedicated staff is committed to academic excellence and strives to bring out the best in every student, ensuring their success both inside and outside the classroom.
Our Catholic identity is central to our school’s mission. We celebrate the Eucharist weekly, participate regularly in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, prepare for sacraments, observe Holy Days, engage in community service, and begin each day with prayer. Our curriculum reflects the Church’s teachings and Catholic family values, integrating faith deeply into every aspect of learning.
Outside the classroom, our students have the opportunity to participate in various programs, including athletics, cheerleading, the arts, technology, music ministry, and cultural celebrations. We utilize modern technology, such as iPads and Chromebooks, and our innovative outdoor learning center and STEM lab provide hands-on experiences with engineering and robotics, preparing students for the careers of the future.
As a mission of St. Barbara Church, our school closely collaborates with the parish to keep our families actively engaged in the parish community. Our school’s intimate size allows us to prioritize each student and family, fostering a strong sense of belonging. Students attend weekly Mass and participate in a monthly family Mass, strengthening their connection with their faith.
