Mission Statement

8th grade

St. Barbara Catholic School welcomes all students with open arms to a faith-filled, challenging academic environment. Opening the minds of students through the use of innovative methodologies, 1:1 educational technology, and curriculum aligned to national, state, and Diocesan standards, St. Barbara Catholic School encourages students to reach their fullest potential. We open the hearts of those we serve by respecting the dignity of each person, serving our community the way Christ calls us to, and by sharing our time, talents, and treasures with others.

St. Barbara Catholic School is a Catholic Parish School, serving families in the city of Santa Ana, CA and other near-by locations and parishes in Orange County.

St. Barbara Catholic School has created a safe, Catholic, Christian environment in which our students are able to become individuals of faith who live the Gospel message, life-long learners, confident, effective communicators, responsible citizens in our communities, and respectful, health-conscious individuals.

Every student is a child of God, and is deserving of an opportunity to receive the best Catholic education possible. Recognizing that a Catholic School should be available to all who desire this educational environment, the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Orange strive to accept everyone for whom an appropriate program can be designed and implemented.

St. Barbara Catholic School, Diocese of Orange, mindful of its mission to be witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students of any race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin to participate in all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin
